On Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Grady students will now be able to access the use of research facilities, the expertise of tutors, and the assistance of staff members and volunteers for their writing projects or assignments. The Grady Foundation is beginning operation of its Writing Center, three days a week for three hours (3:00 – 6:00 PM), in a space inside the Media Center. The Writing Center will open on August 18.
First Annual Lit on The Bricks was held Sunday, April 20
It was a warm, spring day in April in Atlanta, a perfect day to celebrate poetry, rock ‘n’ roll, and Rocky Road ice cream. Swami Gone Bananas, featuring Tommy Dean of the legendary Atlanta band, the League of Decency, set the mood at Rock, Rhyme and Rocky Road, the first Lit on the Bricks event, with swinging tunes from the rock era.
